You have...

  • Highly reliable internet connection with upload speeds of 10 MBPS or more, and download speeds of 150 MBPS or more. Even better if your connection is direct ethernet.

  • Experience in one or more of these areas: coaching, consulting, speaking, teaching, training, event / radio / show hosting, selling, marketing.

  • Exceptional communication and people skills.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR SUCCESS COACH

Whether you take on just a couple of shows to make this a side gig that lights you up, or prefer to make this a PT/FT position - below are the details and essence of what this important role entails:

  • In this role you are an ambassador of change - serving the world by helping changemakers, influencers and leaders expand their mission by sharing their message online.
  • You do this by being the co-host of our clients’ webshows and podcasts.  You are the guide of each conversation by asking questions that allow our clients to share their brilliance and passions naturally.  You’re in charge of making sure our clients get to simply show up, have fun and share their message instead of them struggling to figure out what to say with self-recorded videos.
  • Our clients hire us to help them produce consistent content marketing to not only promote their mission, but especially to have bigger conversations around their mission and grow a platform for influence that spans beyond transactional business.  Your job is not only to SEE the Important Work and deeper message behind our clients’ work, but you also must pull that deeper message, that bigger conversation and Important Work out of them in each of their episode recordings.
  • You help us onboard new clients where your initial meeting with them and their project manager is the starting point to everything - helping them create the name and concept of their show, outline the initial topics, review next steps of show production, answer questions, advise on branding / page / domain names for the show, and set them up for success with show readiness tips.  This call is crucial in setting the client and our team up for success to ensure the process kicks off without a hitch and everyone is clear and EXCITED for what’s next.
  • You take good notes before, during or after conversations that help you remember relevant information that may help you or the client plan for future topics.  You can both follow your notes and an outline in leading a conversation, but you can also totally lead a conversation by shooting from the hip. Even if the client can’t see what other directions they can go with their content and message - YOU can.  You can see what else they want to say or could say and you make a note of that for future conversations.
  • It’s common for our clients to lose touch with their message and Important Work due to the busyness of life. Sometimes the newness of the idea of their message or Important Work is still taking root which can also cause them to feel insecure or confused. This is just them getting stuck in their head.  But their heart and soul always have something to say about their topic. Your job is to pull that out of them. To effectively move them out of their head and into their heart by putting them at ease before recording and letting them shine during the episode interview.
  • Part of the “Success Coaching” piece of your work is continuing to encourage their message.  To tell and affirm the client in the difference you see their work making. This isn’t a “tell them what they want to hear” thing… this is an “acknowledge the power of their truth” thing.  Our clients have taken a bold and daring step into vulnerability by creating their own show. They are risking the world really hearing them… really seeing their heart through their message. When they share from their truth, they are risking that people won’t get it or won’t get them. As successful as they’ve been in other settings, you’ll see them wrestle to find their voice. You’ll see the most successful of people doubt themselves or get confused along the way.  All of this is part of their “becoming” and in you being their guide and co-host, this is what you’re protecting and nurturing.
  • So you can see, this role isn’t just about asking good questions for some little internet show. The work we do is the very root of transformation for our clients and for the people they seek to inspire.  And you are not just some cohost - you are cause in the matter of their Groundswell and the ripple effects of their message that will impact generations because you held the space for them to rise and for their Important Work to blossom.
  • You also support our team by utilizing our Trello and Slack systems for updating the client cards with news, details and needs - while staying in communication with the team.  Even if details are not your strongest game, you can follow directions and will always ask questions if needed for simplification or clarity of expectations.
  • Being at the ground level with the clients, you also communicate opportunities to the team for process improvements, ideas for client nurturing, etc.
  • You anticipate the needs of the team and clients before they arise, and seek to pre-meet them.  Because being on your game is the game!

THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF...

  • You do not have a location in your home or office that is extremely quiet without disruptions like dogs barking, birds squawking, children yelling, construction or sounds echoing, etc.
  • You travel so frequently that you can't guarantee you'll have a proper space for recording show interviews or strong, reliable WiFi - or you'll always be having to reschedule recordings to accommodate your travel schedule.
  • You like to talk more than you like to listen.
  • If you can’t hold your tongue or you find yourself “just having to share”.
  • You find yourself always going over on time in conversations and struggle to keep the conversation within a certain time-limit without abrupt endings.
  • You are meek and timid around others.
  • You want to take on this role simply to advance your own business or platform.
  • You can’t think on your toes.
  • Talking to people drains or irritates you.
  • You struggle to give constructive feedback to a client in a tactful and empowering way.
  • Communicating with clients makes you nervous.
  • Technology scares or frustrates you.
  • You don’t have a consistent and reliable internet connection of 150 MBPS download or more, and upload speeds of 10 MBPS or more.
  • You don’t have a fast hard drive and processing power for virtual video conversations.
  • You take constructive criticism personally or harbor resentment from it.
  • You’re extremely introverted and dislike being in the spotlight.
  • You abruptly take off work based on moon cycles, crystal predictions or your cat’s mood.
  • You don’t align with our mission or values.
  • You’re frequently “just-on-time” or late to appointments.
  • You are not ok with being set up as an independent contractor (meaning, you will be in charge of your taxes and healthcare coverage).
  • You find yourself feeling railroaded by strong personalities or unable to hold your own in conversations.
  • You are not able to commit to the clients and their shows long-term.  Most of our clients stay with us a minimum of 6-12 months. They develop bonds and history with their co-hosts that cannot be replaced.  While we understand things can happen, we want to ensure you are willing and able to stick around for the long-haul whether that’s doing a handful of shows, or more.
